Alice Hobeika, MD

I had a similar experience as the other patients, but I absolutely cannot blame her for choosing to prioritise her own health and family over her career. She was an excellent doctor and was probably the only one to be compassionate to my phobic response to doctors following so much medical trauma. Wherever she is now, I very genuinely hope that she is well and happy.

Same thing happened to my husband! For years we had a reliable family doctor before Dr Hobeika. But now he has been left without a doctor! No notice from clinic or doctor when she left!

Terribly unprofessional! Left patients high and dry when she took maternity leave and didn't refer her patients to other family doctors. When my husband tried to get an appointment (with any family doctor) on the Quebec Sante Website, he couldn't because Alice hadn't removed her name from the practicing physicians list. He was virtually blocked! He tried to put his name on the list of Quebecers who didn't have a family doctor, but he was blocked again because Alice's name popped up yet again as his family doctor. This went on for over a year! Disgraceful behaviour.
