Je reçois les clients francophones et anglophones. I work in English and French. My private practice reflects the diversity of my interests and my experience. I enjoy working with all ages from toddlers to seniors. Children I usually see with their families. On the other hand, adolescents I will see on their own, or with their families, depending on the circumstances. I enjoy also the challenge of working with people who present with a wide variety of problems. Within the diversity of my practice, I have developed some particular areas of expertise. These include: Mothers and fathers who are depressed or anxious during pregnancy, or following childbirth; couples with communication or infidelity problems, or who are considering separating; individuals who are suffering from work stress including psychological harassment and job burnout; and immigrants, or persons from multicultural backgrounds, who are having difficulties adjusting, or who are having relationship problems.
J'accepte les clients et les couples Francophones aussi.

I obtained my doctorate in psychology in 1985 from Queen’s University, Ontario. Following my doctorate, I pursued postdoctoral training in couple and family therapy and in individual psychotherapy, both at the Jewish General Hospital. For 13 years I worked as the coordinator of the graduate student training clinic in the psychology department, of Concordia University. My duties involved clinical practice, teaching and supervision of the graduate students. My part-time private practice developed into a full-time practice in 1999. In 2001 I became accredited as a psychoanalyst. Currently, I am a supervisor at the Argyle Institute of Human Relations, a private psychotherapy training program. I am also a mentor in the fellowship program at Canadian Psychoanalytic Society, Quebec English Branch.
